अन्त एव कर्तव्य इति मतिर्देव्या निश्चिता जातेति। जय जयेति ।

<p text="C" n="5">केशों के सुन्दर गुच्छों से शोभायमान हे शैलसूनु ! हे महिषापुर

मर्दिनी माता तुम्हारी जय हो । रण में मदोन्मत्त शत्रुओं का वध करने

के लिये प्रगट हुई शक्ती माहेश्वरी आदि शक्तियां चारों ओर से तुम्हें

सम्हाले हुए थी । तुम ने अंति चतुर विचारशील, महामना, गणाधिपति

शिवजी को अपना दूत बनाकर अपना शान्तिसन्देश भेजा था । किन्तु

दुष्ट एवं दुर्मति दानव दूत (सुग्रीव) के द्वारा उसे ठुकरा देने से तुम

ने दानवों का अन्त करने का फैसला किया था ।।॥५।।
